I know this tag mostly lives on BookTube but I couldn’t not do it. Whilst jamming out to a bit of Tay Tay right now, I am presenting you with the Taylor Swift Book Tag:
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
(pick a book or series that you were pretty sure you were in love with, but then wanted to break up with it)
I’ve noticed a lot of people have said the obvious, the obvious being The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth, but I thought I’d change it up a bit by saying the Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. I absolutely loved the first book, the second one was alright, the third was better than the second and then the fourth just completely lost it. The beginning was so strong… It’s sad it fell from after that.
(pick a book with a RED cover)
The cutest lil book that I own! ^.^
The Best Day
(pick a book that makes you feel nostalgic)
Utterly Me, Clarice Bean. Okay, so probably not what you were expecting, but as a child, I loved these books. In primary school, we had to choose a book that we loved and read out the first page of that novel. If you haven’t guessed already, I picked this one!
(pick a book with forbidden love)
Isn’t every damn book about forbidden love?!?
I Knew You Were Trouble
(pick a book with a bad character you can’t help but love)
Evangeline from Red Queen.
(pick a book that someone ruined the ending for)
Hasn’t happened to me yet!
Everything Has Changed
(pick a character from a book who goes through extensive character development)
Celaena from the Throne of Glass series – wow, yeah, she goes through such a huge character development through this series. Although, am I now cheating because I picked a series… that has also yet to be finished…?
Okay, so I choose Sally Feather from Under My Skin by James Dawson. I love her development and in the end, I left feeling so empowered because she was seeping out of the pages!!
You Belong With Me
(pick your most anticipated book release)
The White Rose – which is the second book in The Lone City trilogy by Amying Ewing
Forever and Always
(pick your favourite book couple)
Lake and Will from Slammed by Colleen Hoover.
Come Back, Be Here
(pick the book you would least like to lend out, for fear of missing it too much)
Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I absolutely love this book and it gave me so many feels, I can’t imagine being without it.
Teardrops On My Guitar
(pick up a book that made you cry a lot)
Haven’t come across one yet!
Shake It Off
(pick a book that you love so much, you shake off the haters)
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen!
