I initially moved into my uni home and it had no internet. It was more or less a reason for me to bring as many books as possible because I wouldn’t have the internet to distract me. I thought I’d do a quick (what a joke, there’s no such thing as a ‘quick’ anything on blogs!) ‘on my bookshelf’ post showing you what I’ve taken to uni on my first move. Since the first move, I have read a few of them so will likely be swapping them over with some that I have at home.
So, this is my bookshelf in all it’s glory. The bookshelf that comes with the room isn’t the most stable of shelves so my books sit at the bottom so it doesn’t topple over. The books stacked to the right of the shelf are for my modules this term and have been taken out from the library. All these, minus one book that I’m not sure if I can say I have yet, are the ones I’ve taken to uni. I keep Am I Normal Yet? on display because of the previous post. On the top shelf there is a frog money box, which I’ve had since I was a child. My detergent lives on my bottom shelf along with a Ikea multigrain bread mix, which I still need to make as well as an owl money box that I got from my sister for my birthday.
Now, onto the books! They aren’t in any sort of order so there are authors scattered and books that sit in a series dotted around.
